Allen Mayberry
Biblical Counselor, M.A., M.Div.
Allen grew up in central North Carolina and moved to Greenville from the Raleigh, NC area in 2021 with his wife and two little boys. Allen received his undergrad (Biblical Studies) and two master’s degrees (M.Div. and M.A. in Biblical Counseling, respectively) from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) before working for a couple years as a licensed professional counselor. Since that time, he has worked in pastoral counseling environments and is currently working on his Doctorate of Ministry in Biblical Counseling (also with SEBTS).
Over the course of his training and experience, Allen has developed a heart for those who struggle with various forms of anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and men’s sexual integrity/purity issues. He also has experience with life transitions, relationship difficulties, anger, and pre-marital and marital topics. Allen is also a trained and certified facilitator of the Prepare-Enrich marriage assessment and curriculum.
In his spare time Allen enjoys jogging, taking family bike rides, sports (watching and playing), and reading.
